Configuring VAIO Update to automatically check for updates from the VAIO Support website.

VAIO Update enables VAIO notebooks to automatically receive important announcements and latest information on Update Programs.

Please refer to the following steps to configure VAIO Update:

Important: In order to perform a VAIO Update, the VAIO computer must be connected to the Internet. 

1.  Click Start, select All Programs, select VAIO Update 2 and click VAIO Update Options.
2.  Select Automatically check for updates on the support page and click OK.

Note:
-  VAIO Update automatically sends the computer's IP address to the VAIO Support web server. This is only for technical and statistical reasons and no link is made to personal information.
-  VAIO Update does not collect any form of personally identifiable information from the computer.
