What types of media file formats can be imported into PlayMemories Home?

Files such as JPEG and MP4 can be imported with PlayMemories Home.
You will be able to import files such as AVCHD by connecting an applicable Sony product.
Check Supported Formats for files that can be imported with PlayMemories Home.

• How to check the file formats that can be imported with PlayMemories Home 　
  1. Start PlayMemories Home.　
  2. The PlayMemories Home screen will be displayed. Select the Help, and then select About PlayMemories Home.　
  3. The About PlayMemories Home screen will be displayed. Select the Supported Formats button.
  4. The Supported Formats screen will be displayed where you can check the file formats.

     NOTE: While not shown in Supported Formats, MOV files can also be played.
     Only if Quick Time is installed on your computer.

     　

• File formats added to file formats that can be registered

  Functions will be added to PlayMemories Home by connecting an applicable Sony product, allowing image formats recorded by that cameral to be handled.

  TIP: Turn on the camera's power before connecting. 　　

  If you have multiple Sony cameras, the file formats recordable by the individual camera will be added when each is connected.
