What is Wireless Stereo Function and how does it work?

Wireless Stereo Function (WSF) is a feature where two identical compatible Wireless Speakers can work as wireless left and right audio channels when playing audio from the Music Center (SongPal) application.

• If you have previously setup your wireless speakers and a compatible Sound bar to use the Wireless Surround function , cancel the Wireless Surround function first before performing the steps below in setting up the Wireless Stereo Function.

  Follow the steps below to cancel the Wireless Surround function using the menu of the Sound bar.

  NOTE: The Music Center (SongPal) app may not recognize the wireless speakers if the Wireless Surround function has not been canceled or disabled.

  1. Using the Sound bar remote control, press the HOME button.

     NOTE: The home menu appears on the TV screen.

  2. Select Setup.
  3. Select Wireless Surround Settings.
  4. Select Stop Wireless Surround.
• Please make sure to check for possible updates available for the Music Center (SongPal) application and for your audio devices before trying to use Wireless Stereo. 
• In order to use the Wireless Stereo feature with your audio devices, they must be connected, through Wi-Fi, to the same wireless network as your phone or tablet. Wireless Stereo is not supported when using Bluetooth.

NOTE: Since the wireless speaker does not have its own interface, it can be connected to the network using the Music Center (SongPal) application. For model-specific information on how to connect the speaker to the network, check the operating instructions that came with the unit.

The Music Center (SongPal) application lets you easily configure your Wireless Stereo sound setup.
Follow these simple steps to create your Wireless Stereo group:

1. Make sure the Wireless Speakers you want to use for the setup are connected to the same network as your mobile device running the SongPal application.
2. Tap the SongPal icon  on your mobile device.
3. Select a compatible Wireless Speaker in your list of devices.
4. Tap Group with other speakers.
   
   
   
   
5. Choose Wireless Stereo.
   
   
   
   
6. Choose whether the Wireless Speaker you started the setup with should be the LEFT or RIGHT channel.
   
   
   
   
7. Then, select the speaker you want to use for the other channel. (the right channel if you chose LEFT in Step 6, and vice-versa)
   
   
   
   
8. You now need to indicate which of your speakers you want to use as the music resource (USB or Audio In, HDMI, etc.). Then, tap OK.
   
   
   
   
9. A Wireless Stereo group creation confirmation pop-up window will then appear. Press OK to confirm and proceed.
   
10. Finally, give your Wireless Stereo group a name. Then, tap OK.
    
11. The Wireless Stereo group is then created within approximately 20 seconds.
    
12. Your speakers are now ready for Wireless Stereo playback and, depending on the model, will possibly light up a LED indicating whether they are the Left or Right speaker, for your reference. You can now enjoy your content in stereo mode.
    

If you wish to disband the group or to swap your left and right speakers, select Edit Group in your Wireless Stereo group's window.

Connection of the Wireless Stereo Function can also be made using the buttons on the wireless speakers.
Follow the steps below to make connection on the Wireless Stereo Function using the buttons on the speakers.

IMPORTANT:

• Confirm both the speakers are connected to the wireless router.
• Confirm the LED status of both speakers. The LINK LED of the speaker should be in Orange and the NETWORK LED should be in White.
  
  
• 1. Push and hold the STEREO PAIR button on the speaker A until the voice message Wireless Stereo is heard.
  2. Push and hold the SET UP button on the speaker B until the voice message Start Connecting is heard.

NOTES:

To disconnect the Wireless Stereo Function using the buttons, push and hold the STEREO PAIR button on either speakers until the voice message Disconnected is heard from both of speakers.
