Adjusting the Picture settings on your TV
The Picture settings allow you to adjust different colour, contrast, motion, and brightness settings to improve the content you see on your TV.
The Picture settings may differ depending on your TV model. Choose your TV model type from the items below:

Google TV models
To change the Picture settings:
- On the remote control, press the Quick Settings ( or ) button, then select Settings → Display & Sound.
- The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
- Select Picture & Sound → Picture. Choose your desired option, then click the item you want to change.
- Select Picture. Choose your desired option, then click the item you want to change.
Notes:
- You can adjust the settings based on what you are watching (e.g. streaming video, DVDs/Blu-ray Discs, content from a USB drive).
- A brief description of each item is displayed on the picture setting screen of your TV. Using this article as supplementary information, you can easily change the settings.
- You can adjust the Picture settings while watching content on the TV screen.
- When Auto Picture Mode is set to On, the Picture mode will change automatically according to the content.
- You may notice a sudden change in the brightness or saturation settings.
- If you don't want the settings to change automatically, turn Auto Picture Mode to Off.
Picture mode
Picture mode is an image quality setting that adjusts the content based on the programme genre and image type.
The following are explanations for each of the settings available in Picture mode:

Notes:
- The availability of adjustable functions depends on your TV model.
- When Auto Picture Mode is set to On, the Picture mode will change automatically according to the content.
- By selecting Reset picture settings for ***, you can reset the picture settings for the current picture mode to the factory default.

Brightness
Adjusts the backlight to display the brightest whites and deepest blacks of the image.

Enhances the black parts of the image by analysing the picture's brightness level in real time and automatically adjusting the dark levels.

Automatically corrects the contrast of the image by analysing the picture's luminance level in real time.

Black equalizer | Enhances the black areas of the screen by analysing the picture's brightness level in real time and automatically adjusting the dark levels.

Auto local dimming |
Optimises the contrast by analysing the picture's luminance levels in real time and automatically adjusting the backlight brightness.

Peak Luminance |
Optimises the contrast (especially in dark scenes) by analysing the screen's luminance levels in real time and making bright areas brighter. Setting values: Off, Low, Medium, or High |
Colour
Adjusts the colour saturation level and hue.

Adjusts the picture clarity and reduces roughness.

Android TV models
To access the settings, refer to one of the following methods, depending on your remote control:
- Press the (Quick Settings) button, then select Settings → Display & Sound → Picture → the desired option.
- Press the ACTION MENU button, then select Picture → the desired option.
Notes:
- For some TV models, select Advanced settings in Picture to select the detailed options for Brightness, Color, Clarity, and Motion.
- You can adjust the settings based on what you are watching (e.g. streaming video, DVDs/Blu-ray Discs, content from a USB drive).
- You can adjust your picture settings in real time.
Picture mode
