No Sound output from Android TV speakers

NOTES:
- Each of these steps represents a possible solution to this issue.
- A separate article is available if Cannot hear the TV sound from the Sound Bar, Home Theater System, or Home Audio System
Perform the following steps and check whether the issue is resolved after each step.
1. Check if there is any sound from the sample slideshow by performing the steps below:
- Press Help button on remote control
- Select Picture/Sound symptoms.
- Press Start
If there is sound, issue could be due to the source. Try another source or check with broadcaster/set-top box vendor if issue persists.
2. Change the Set speaker setting to TV Speakers
To change speaker setting:
- Press the HOME button on the remote.
- Select Sound, then press the Enter button.
- Select Speakers, then press the Enter button.
- Set Speakers to TV speakers.
3. Change the Set Headphone/Audio-Out setting to Audio Out
To change speaker setting:
- Press the HOME button on the remote.
- Select Sound, then press the Enter button.
- Select Headphone/Audio out, then press the Enter button.
- Set Headphone/Audio out to Audio out (Variable).
4. Update the BRAVIA TV System Software to the latest version.
