How to output the sound of TV program to the speaker of this Home Theatre System when my TV does not have ANALOG AUDIO OUT jacks (the red and white audio output jacks)?
I want to hear the sound of TV program from the speakers of the Home Theater system, but my TV does not have the ANALOG AUDIO OUT jacks (the Red and White audio output jacks).
If you have the cable box or satellite box which has the ANALOG AUDIO OUT jacks(the Red and White audio output jacks)
When you connect the AUDIO OUT of the cable box or satellite box to the Home Theater system, you can hear sound of TV program from the speaks of the Home Theater system.
Perform the followings:
- Connect a Red and White analog audio cable from the Red and White audio output jacks of the cable box or satellite box to the (Analog) AUDIO IN jacks (the Red and White “AUDIO IN” jacks) on the back of the Home Theater system.
Note: If a Red and White analog audio cable is connected from the Red and White audio output jacks of your cable box or satellite box to the Red and White “AUDIO IN” jacks of TV, disconnect the cable from the Red and White “AUDIO IN” jacks of TV. Then connect it to the Red and White “AUDIO IN” jacks on the back of the Home Theater system. (The sound will come from the speakers of the Home Theater system instead of the speakers of TV.) - Repeat pressing the FUNCTION button on the remote control until “TV/CABLE” appears in the front panel display of the Home Theater system.
- Turn up the volume on the Home Theater system.
If you do not have the cable box or satellite box which has the ANALOG AUDIO OUT jacks (the Red and White audio output jacks)
If your TV does not have the Red and White audio output jacks and you do not have the cable box or satellite box which has the Red and White audio output jacks, sound of TV program does not output via the Home Theater system. If your TV , cable box or satellite box has the DIGITAL OUT(OPTICAL) jack, we recommend to use Sony Home Theater system which has the DIGITAL IN (OPTICAL) jack.
