What is an NFC compatible smartphone?

The NFC compatible smartphones are smartphones with built-in Near Field Communication (NFC) function. These smartphones have Android 2.3.3 operating system or newer. Look for the NFC logo on the smartphone or mobile device to ensure that it is NFC compatible.

NOTES:

• The NFC function of Apple iOS devices is not compatible with one-touch connection. (As of June, 2017)
• NFC function is not compatible on smartphones with Android 3. x operating system.

When you use the smartphone running Android OS prior to 4.1, installing the NFC Easy Connect app is required. To download the NFC Easy Connect app, go to the download page on Google Play or scan the two-dimensional barcode below using a code reader or scanner app. (NFC Easy Connect may not be available in some countries and/or regions.)

NOTE: Some smartphones with the Android 4.0 operating system may already have an app installed that has similar functions. Refer to the manual supplied with the smartphone or mobile device for additional details.
