End of support notification for products using the Windows Vista operating system
Dear valued Customers,
Microsoft® Corporation has announced that they will end their support of Windows® Vista operating system on 11 April 2017. After the end of support, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates, fixes and technical support.
Accordingly, Sony will not be able to assist with any new technical, quality or security issues with our products if they relate to Windows Vista, and we will not be able to provide security updates or implement modifications and validations on our products running on Windows Vista. Please be advised that these products may not work properly or securely if you continue operating them on Windows Vista.
To continue using your hardware and software products on newer versions of Windows, please visit our support website for your products to check compatibility.
Note: Sony cannot support new technical, quality or security issues with our products operating on earlier versions of Windows operating system, such as Windows® 95, Windows® 98, Windows® Me, Windows® 2000, Windows® XP, etc., for which Microsoft has already ended its support.
