What apps are available for my TV?

For Google TV and Android TV models
Click "Show the confirmation method" for your TV models.

Google TV models
- Check using the Google TV HOME menu.
Select Apps tab in the HOME menu. To browse for apps, move up or down to find different categories. When you find a category you are interested in, move to the right to find items. You can also select a category from the App categories section.Notes:
- The Apps tab only displays apps that are supported by Google TV and those you can install. They may differ from apps for smartphones or tablets.
- You can easily search Apps by voice by pressing the Google Assistant (or MIC) button on your remote control, or search by using the on-screen keyboard. For details, refer to the How do I install applications on the Android TV or Google TV, and then confirm the apps installed? article.
- If you choose basic TV when you set up your Google TV, only pre-installed apps on your TV are available. You cannot install other apps. When you press the HOME button on the remote control, you can find all pre-installed apps on the Home menu. If you want to install other apps, you need to log in to your Google account and switch from basic TV to Google TV. To switch the TV to Google TV, from the Home screen, scroll to the Google TV banner, and select Set up Google TV.
- Check using a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
Using a computer, tablet, or smartphone, visit the Apps for Android TV website for a list of the latest apps that are available for Android TV devices.
Note: The website heading says Apps for Android TV, but both Google TV and Android TV can refer to this page.
- Check using the Google TV HOME menu.

Android TV models
You can check what apps can be installed on Android TV from the Google Play Store.
Notes:- Google Play Store on the Android TV only displays apps that are supported by the TV, so apps that are not displayed are not supported at the moment. Not all apps for other Android™ devices such as smartphones can be used with the TV.
- Apps can be purchased through Google Play Store if you are logged in using your Google ID. You can also install apps you have already installed and paid for on your Android mobile devices for free if there is an Android TV equivalent.
There are two ways to determine what apps are available for an Android TV.
- Check using the Android TV HOME menu.
If you already own an Android TV, you can select the Google Play store app from the Apps menu. You can then search through all of the listed apps.Note: Home screens for TVs may differ depending on the models, regions and apps available.
- Check using a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
Using a computer, tablet, or smartphone, visit the Apps for Android TV website for a list of the latest apps that are available for Android TV devices. Note: Visiting the Apps for Android TV website, you can also see the Description and Reviews of the app before downloading.

How do I check all of the apps installed in Sony's Google TV or Android TV?
- Open the Settings screen.
How to access Settings
- If the remote control has a Quick Settings button:
- On the remote control, press the (Quick Settings) button.
- Select Settings.
- If the remote control does not have a Quick Settings button:
- On the remote control, press the HOME button.
- Select Settings.
- If the remote control has a Quick Settings button:
- The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
- Select Apps → See all apps. (Android 9 or later)
- Select Apps → Downloaded apps or System apps category. (Android 8.0 or earlier)
Note: For Google TV, the list of all installed apps can be also displayed by selecting See all located at the rightmost position of Your apps in the Apps tab on the Home menu.
- Open the Settings screen.
How to access Settings
For other TV models
Follow these steps if you want to check all the apps in your TV:
- Make sure to connect your TV to an active internet connection.
- On the supplied TV remote, press the HOME button.
- Select All Apps, Applications or All Applications.
Note for 2014 models: All Apps is at the lower corner of the Apps menu screen.
