A "Videos that cannot be imported by PlayMemories Home were found" message is displayed and images cannot be imported.
IMPORTANT: This article applies only to specific products and/or operating systems. Check the Applicable Products and Categories section of this article before starting these steps.
If you try to import an image (video, RAW, HEIF, etc.) with a camera that PlayMemories Home doesn't support, the following message may be displayed:
Notes:
- Even with an unsupported camera, some images may import but the operation is not guaranteed.
- Although the message refers to Videos, it will also appear when you try to import still images.
- The Camera registration reference in the message does not refer to product registration for My Sony, but to the PlayMemories Home application device authentication (registration). Device authentication is not available for products that are not supported by PlayMemories Home.
See the following for how to import and view images.
