When transferring images from the camera to a smartphone, the camera heats up and then turns off.

Transferring large amounts of data (such as images) from your camera for a long period of time uses a lot of power. The camera automatically turns off to avoid overheating and damaging the image quality or its internal parts. When this happens, leave the camera off for a while until it cools down before transferring the remaining images. The images that have already transferred to your smartphone will remain intact even if the camera shuts down before the transfer is complete.

For models that allow you to take new shots while transferring images, try the following measures to transfer images for a longer period.

    • Set Auto Power OFF Temp. to High.
Note: Please use a tripod or other stabilising equipment instead of handheld shooting. Continuous handheld use may cause low-temperature burns.
    • Open the monitor panel.
    • When shooting movies, go to Movie Settings and set the resolution and frame rate to a lower setting.
    • During movie recording standby, set the camera to still image shooting mode.
