Why is the IC Recorder not recognized after connecting it to the computer?
Communication error occurs and the IC Recorder is not recognized after it is connected to the computer.
If an IC recorder, which is connected to the computer, is not recognized by the Digital Voice Editor, please check the following.

The system requirements of Digital Voice Editor are met.
The IC recorder is not recognized if the computer does not meet the system requirements of the Digital Voice Editor.

A USB hub is used.
Use of this unit with a USB hub is not guaranteed. Connect the IC recorder to the computer USB connector directly. -
More than two USB devices are connected to a computer.
If more than two USB devices are connected to a computer, normal operation will not be guaranteed. Please ensure that only the IC recorder is connected to the computer. -
Digital Voice Editor bundled with a newly purchased IC recorder has not been installed.
If there are two or more IC recorders with supplied CD-ROMs, be sure to install and use the latest software. -
Digital Voice Editor is not compatible with system standby or hibernation mode of the computer.
When the computer fails to communicate with the IC recorder after system recovery, please disconnect and then reconnect the IC Recorder to the computer.
If the IC recorder is not recognized even after performing the above, it may be due to a connection error to the computer. Please check the connection with the steps below.

Remove the IC recorder from the computer and reconnect.

When there are two or more USB connectors are on the computer, connect it to another USB connector

Remove the IC recorder from the computer and restart the computer

Select IC Recorder - Select IC Recorder from the Digital Voice Editor menu again

Check PC connecting PC LINK or PC CONNECT is displayed on the display window of the IC recorder.
