Why does the IC Recorder/PCM recorder display “Connecting”, “PC LINK” or “PC CONNECT” even after safely disconnecting from the computer?
When disconnecting the IC Recorder/PCM recorder from the computer, the display of the IC recorder/PCM recorder Connecting, PC LINK or PC CONNECT does not turn off even though I performed Safely remove USB Mass Storage Device.
When using Windows® 7/Windows® Vista, Connecting, PC LINK or PC CONNECT is still displayed on the IC recorder/PCM recorder even though you have performed Safely remove USB Mass Storage Device.
After you have confirmed that the operation indicator on the IC recorder/PCM recorder does not light, perform Safely remove USB Mass Storage Device on the Windows screen. At that time, Connecting, PC LINK or PC CONNECT remains being displayed but you can disconnect the IC recorder/PCM recorder from the USB port of the computer.
Note: When using Macintosh, the display of the IC recorder/PCM recorder does not turn off either even though you have dragged the icon IC RECORDER or PCM RECORDER on the desktop to Trash and dropped it there.
