Does the camera continue to adjust the focus while shooting in Continuous Shooting mode?
Shooting in Continuous Shooting mode
By setting the auto focus mode to AF-A or AF-C and using a Fast Hybrid AF compatible lens, the camera continues to adjust the focus during Continuous Shooting.
When using a Fast Hybrid AF incompatible lens, the camera continues to adjust the focus only if Continuous Shooting is set to Lo.
Even when using a Fast Hybrid AF compatible lens, the camera does not continue to adjust the focus when Continuous Shooting is set to Mid/Hi in the following situations
- When the subject is not inside the Phase Detection AF Area
- When it is dark
- When the aperture value is greater than F11
NOTE:
When shooting using a mount adaptor, pay attention to the following points
- The camera does not continue to adjust the focus when Continuous Shooting is set to Mid/Hi.
- The camera continues to adjust the focus when Continuous Shooting is set to Lo only if an LA-EA2 or LA-EA4 Mount Adaptor is used.
