Uploading from the camera to the cloud does not start.
If uploading from the camera to the cloud does not start even when performing operations* to upload to the cloud, check the following.
*Operation methods vary depending on the camera used (set the camera's power switch from OFF to ON, or select [Cloud Connection] in the camera menu).
- Public Wi-Fi that requires web authentication cannot be used. Make settings to use the Wi-Fi in your home or office, etc.
- If the camera is not linked with the cloud, follow the method described in "Linking the camera with the cloud" and establish the link.
- Check that (Network) → [Creators' Cloud] → [Cloud Connection] is [On] in the camera MENU.
- Check whether the camera has a stable connection with Wi-Fi. If (Wi-Fi connected, communication status good) is displayed on the camera monitor, the connection with Wi-Fi is stable. If the signal strength is insufficient, move to a place with a stronger signal, etc.
- Check that (Cloud) is displayed on the camera monitor. If the orange (Error with cloud) is displayed, the camera is not connected to the cloud. Follow the method described in "[An error occurred in the camera.] is displayed on the smartphone and [Correctly set the area/date and time.] is displayed on the camera during operations to link the camera with the cloud." and reconnect the camera.
- Accurately set the camera date and time (within ±5 minutes).
- Check that the Cloud Upload function of Creators' App is ON. If (Cameras) → [Camera Settings] → [Cloud Function] → [Cloud Function Available] [Cloud Upload ON] is displayed in Creators' App, the function is ready. If it is not displayed, check that your camera is a supported camera, and then link the camera with the cloud and set Cloud Upload to ON.
- It takes about 1 minute for uploading to start. When uploading is complete, (Complete) is displayed in Creators' App and Creators' Cloud Web. If uploading does not start even after waiting for a bit, check whether (Complete) is displayed.
- Check that the file format and other settings for the images to be uploaded are correct by going to (Cameras) → [Camera Settings] → [Cloud Function] → [Cloud Upload] in Creators' App. (Example: By default, the only movies that will be uploaded are proxy movies and HD movies, so 4K movies will not be uploaded.)
- For cameras with two memory card slots, confirm that a card is in the specified slot. For cameras with a single memory card slot, confirm that slot 1 is selected.
- As the Creators' Cloud system was renewed in September 2024, you will not be able to upload to the cloud from your camera unless you migrate to the new system. Select [Cloud] under (Storage) in Creators' App and follow the on-screen instructions to perform migration.
- If connection is still not possible after trying the above, try connecting again later.
