Which mode should I use, Superior Auto or Intelligent Auto?
We recommend Superior Auto which allows you to easily shoot higher quality images.
In (Superior Auto) mode, the camera automatically detects various scenes and executes the appropriate steps for each scene to record a higher quality image.
- In normal scenes
By recognizing the scene and the condition (such as the movement of the user etc.), the camera automatically adjusts to the best setting for the scene or the condition to shoot a higher quality image. - In low light scenes
The camera continuously shoots up to 6 images with high speed, accurate image processing, and combines the images to create one noise-reduced image. - In backlit scenes
The camera combines 3 images that were shot continuously at different brightnesses (exposures) and suppresses overexposure and underexposure to create a natural finish.
TIP:
Intelligent Auto is recommended when shooting continuous images.
In Superior Auto mode, the camera combines images for some scenes, so the recording process takes some time.
