Notice for Sony product owners: Regarding Termination of YouTube service availability on 2012 Sony video and audio products
Dear Valued Sony Customer,
It has been confirmed that the “New YouTube for TV” application on 2012 Sony video and audio products as listed below will experience symptoms of “Black Screen and freezing” or an “Error Message” will be displayed and the video will stop playing.
The symptoms being experienced are not due to a fault in the video and audio product.
However, due to these issues, Sony has decided to delete the YouTube icon accessible on the affected 2012 video and audio products after 15th February 2017. The “YouTube” function will no longer be available on the affected 2012 video and audio products after 15th February 2017.
We appreciate your understanding, and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
