Can a memory card that has been formatted with a computer or another camera be used in a camera?
A memory card might not be recognized or the camera may not be able to read or write image data if the memory card is formatted with a computer or another camera. Use the camera to format memory cards, even newly-purchased ones, prior to using them in the camera.
