Why can't I find Location-based Wi-Fi in Android 5.0 or higher?
From Android version 5.0, there is no longer an option to activate Location-based Wi-Fi®. In Android versions 5.0 or higher, the Wi-Fi scanning technology has been improved and no significant saving of power is achieved through the activation of the Location-based Wi-Fi setting. Therefore, it has been removed.
