How to delete the Bluetooth information from a device

    Select the device type below for steps on how to delete Bluetooth device information.
    Note: Depending on the OS version, the method may differ, for details refer to the manual supplied with the device or contact the manufacturer.


    Android (smartphone, tablet)

    1. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
    2. Select (Settings).
    3. Select Connected devices or Device Connection.
    4. Select Previously connected devices or Bluetooth.
      Note: If the Bluetooth function is set to OFF, set it to ON.
    5. Select (Settings) next to the name of the device that you want to unpair.
    6. Select FORGET.
      Note: If the next menu is displayed, select Forget device.

    iOS (iPhone, iPad)

    1. On the Home screen, select Settings.
    2. On the Settings menu, select Bluetooth.
    3. If the Bluetooth function is set to OFF, set it to ON.
    4. Select (Info) next to the name of the device that you want to unpair.
    5. Select Forget This Device.

    Windows 11

    1. On the Start menu, click (Settings).
    2. Select Bluetooth & Devices.
    3. If the Bluetooth function is set to OFF, set it to ON.
    4. On the Audio menu, select (menu) on the right side of the device name you want to unpair.
    5. Select Remove deviceYes.

    Windows 10

    1. On the Start menu, select (Settings).
    2. Select Devices.
    3. On the Devices menu, select Bluetooth & other devices.
    4. If the Bluetooth function is set to OFF, set it to ON.
    5. Select the device you want to unpair.
    6. Select Remove device.

    Windows 8.1

    1. On the Start Menu, click (Settings).
    2. Select Change PC settings.
    3. On the PC settings menu, click PC and devices.
    4. On the PC and devices menu, click Bluetooth.
    5. If the Bluetooth function is set to OFF, set it to ON.
    6. Select the device you want to unpair.
    7. Select Remove device.

    Windows 7

    1. Open the Control Panel.
    2. On the Hardware and Sound menu, click Devices and Printers.
    3. Right click on the device you want to unpair, and then click Remove device.

    Mac

    1. Select Apple menu.
    2. Select System Preferences, and then click Bluetooth.
    3. If the Bluetooth function is set to OFF, set it to ON.
    4. Hover the pointer over the device you want to unpair, and then click (Remove) beside the name of the device.
