How to pair the Touchpad Remote Control with the TV

IMPORTANT: This article applies only to specific products and/or operating systems. Check the Applicable Products and Categories section of this article before starting these steps.

To use the Touchpad Remote Control it is necessary to pair the remote with the TV.

Supplied Touchpad Remote Control

1. Make sure that the batteries are properly inserted.
2. When the tutorial is displayed on screen, press the Touchpad area repeatedly as shown in the tutorial to perform pairing.
   

NOTES:

• View the operating instructions for the Touchpad Remote Control from Touchpad Remote Control in the upper part of the Home screen.
• If the remote does not work even when you move your finger on the touchpad, there is a chance that the remote and the TV are not paired. Press and hold the INPUT button on the TV for at least 5 seconds, and register the Touchpad Remote Control from the screen that is displayed.
• If the message Unable to turn Bluetooth on due to an error appears, please contact the Sony service center.

Separately-sold Touchpad Remote Control

1. Make sure that the batteries are properly inserted.
2. Follow the steps below to pair the remote.
   1. Press the HOME button on the supplied infrared remote control.
   2. Select Settings.
   3. Select Touchpad Remote Control settings in the NETWORK & ACCESSORIES category.
   4. Select Pair Touchpad Remote Control.
   5. Select Yes, and follow the on-screen instructions for pairing.
