What is TV Companion application and why I am not able to use it?
TV Companion allows users to use their Facebook Messenger app to search and play OTT content on their TV sets as well as to control their TV remotely. The application is currently made available only to customers in Vietnam.
Due to technical reasons, you may see the TV Companion icon on your TV in Basic TV mode even though your country does not support this application.
How can I remove the TV Companion application icon from my application list?
The icon cannot be removed when using TV in Basic TV mode.
If you don’t want to see TV Companion application icon in Basic TV mode, please login using your Google account and switch to Google TV mode.
