I BOUGHT THIS SONY TV A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO and TV IS OF EXCELLENT QUALITY.

after few years...Picture /image is great. three issues: (i) can't never figure out if new apps can be downloaded (ii) sometimes software updates put things in a loop. Have to swithch the TV on/off and hope that works (iii) the remote design is not the best - the scroll button is right next to the "home" button. takes you out of the menu after you've spent a few minutes getting there, the "Enter Button" is malfunctioning, and i have to now buy a new remote (hopefully of a better design), but this site is not making it easy to find one

I bought about a month ago and very happy I did!!!

I bought this in middle of 2020. This TV does not have a Bluetooth 5.0 specs compare to a 2019 iPhone XR. As a result, I cannot connect to a Bluetooth 5.0 speaker.

The response from the remote is super slow. My other Korean brand is so much faster and responsive, even though the remote has only a few buttons and a bezel. Furthermore, I couldn't download mewatch.

Good quality sound system Picture and colour of good clearity

I bought this TV 3 weeks ago. It’s size is perfect for my small living room measuring 3m wall to wall. Nothing fanciful with Netflix and YouTube features. Really value for money. This is my third Sony TV. Reliable Brand.

Colour vibrant, but loading apps like YouTube is slow

I bought this a month ago but the picture contrast/clarity is not as what I expected. From the moment after switch on, at bottom of screen about an inch height dark horizontal patch from left to right of TV flickers for about 15 seconds. At the four corners of TV screen small faint dark patches can be seen throughout viewing especially obvious on white background of picture. But the price is a bargain for the Sony 40 inch.

The picture quality is so good that I thought the scenery I watch is just infront of me.

I brought this TV after the sales man told you can i stall any app, but when installed there was nothing except Netflix and I can’t add apps

I bought it because the size is right for the box-up area in my master room. However, the remote control is not responding well and slow. I need to press the button a few times or press once and wait for it to work.

Sony, a reliable and trusted brand. We did not hesitate in purchasing the 2nd TV set, Model KD65A8G 65" ultra HD 4K android oled within a short period of time from the first.

I bought it 4 yrs agofrom USA. Iinstalled last year. But since than not switching ON.

Good value for money! Only complaint is slow connection to internet.

Replaced my old spoiled tv, right size to fit in bedroom, decent app available to download. At least got Netflix for my mom to enjoy.

I'm not able to figure out how I can install apps on this TV

I bought this TV one month ago. I'm happy with this product. Video color quality is very nice. One of my observation is, speaker is directing to bottom and sound quality is a bit degraded. I needed to rotate TV to various angle, but because of its standing frame structure, its hard buy a rotating bottom support. Overall, very nice product.

My first Sony TV as I have always bought Samsung. Works well, resolution is good and sound is acceptable. Only thing I didn't like about it is that the various inputs sources are not lined up as a task bar at the bottom of the screen unlike my Samsung. This made choosing a source a two-step process. Good also if the set came with bluetooth to pair with wireless headphones. But it worked well with the bluetooth transmitter that I bought to connected it to.

this is the latest in a long line of Sony TV's I've purchased. the picture is incredibly clean and clear. because of the famous Sony reliability, it will not break down. this TV's performance will constantly remind me I made the right brand choice. please,Sony, do not stop making this KDL series of TV's !

The size and design fit very well in our living room.

I bought the TV a few weeks ago and the voice quality is good. The colour is on the warmer side.

I bought this tv two weeks ago but I have had mixed experiences with it.

I did the right choice by going for this one even though I had the chance to get a 4K and bigger display.

This is our Third Sony TV. It works great. Was easy to set up. No problems.

Good choice that i bought before Chinese New Year 2019 !

The internet function still have the room to improve to much better & smooth quality during the play.

Rather dated model but expensive compared with other brands with same or even better features

Terrible connection problems. Keeps showing error msgs. Serious waste of time!

Sony should’ve provided a wall mount for this model as I bought it for my master bedroom. Everything else was good except without the provision of a wall mount that cause the overall rating of this tv to drop!

I purchased this two days ago. Nice picture. Poor accessibility of connections. No RCA jack for video. Really short plug wire. No mounting screws for stand included.

This TV is relatively slim and light compared to my old mounted Philips TV. There is one point that I did not like about this TV. That is when it is mounted on my existing flexible wall mount, one of the HDMI port is covered by the wall mount as that port is directly behind the TV instead of being on the side or underneath. This leaves my TV with only one working HDMI port.

Actually I love all products by Sony, don't ask me why. I bought afew like mp3, radio & tv. Why because it give me satisfaction in enjoying myself because I live to be alone. Thank you

Brought it a month ago. So far so good. Picture quality is excellent especially for 4D transmission.

An excellent TV for the price point. Very energy efficient. It only draws 30 watt at medium brightness. There's a hint of vignetting on the four corners. This is the only drawback. I got used to it after a while.

IT STARTED WITH VOLUME NOT GOING UP OR DOWNA ND WE WOULD HAVE TO TURN OFF AND BACK ON. NOW POWER BUTTON DOESNT WORK AND TV FREEZES. NOTHING WORKS. REMOTE OR TV BUTTONS, I HAVE TO UNPLUG IT FROM THE WALL. SOMETIMES IT JUST SHUTS OFF BY ITSELF OR FREEZES CONSTANTLY, SO FRUSTRATING FOR SO MUCH MONEY!! I BOUGHT SONT THINKING IT WOULD LAST A LONG TIME.

The display and sound quality is good except for the internet speed is slow. And youtube hang after sometime and need to clear the history.

bought this for my father because of the digital change, really easy to use even for him.

With a bit of disappointment after setting up, really. First, the USB does not support multiple video format; second, no memory of last stop video playing; third, 1 of 2 HDMI socket is blocked by the TV bracket...

no build in toggle app. remote control hard to use. try install wireless mouse but tv not support. made surf net unpleasant. what i like is picture quality.

There was not enough HDMI/VGA/Audio port. I was not able to use my starhub box & DVD player together.
