An image does not appear on the TV screen when the video equipment is connected to the composite or component video input terminal of the AV receiver while the AV receiver and the TV is connected via the HDMI connection.

Connect the TV to the composite or component video output terminal of the AV receiver and not the HDMI output terminal, to show an image on the TV screen when the video equipment is connected to the composite or component video input terminal of the AV receiver.

The AV receiver is not compatible with the function of converting a composite or component video input into an HDMI output. That is why an image does not appear on a TV screen when a video equipment is connected to the composite or component video input terminal of the AV receiver while the AV receiver and the TV is connected via the HDMI connection. To show an image of the video equipment on the TV screen through the AV receiver, the connections [D] and [E] should be taken with the same methods.

Choose an output terminal of the AV receiver that is connected to the TV based on an input method of the AV receiver, then check whether an image appears on the TV screen.

• When the video equipment is connected to the AV receiver's SAT/CATV of VIDEO terminals with a composite cable

  Connect the AV receiver's MONITOR OUT of VIDEO terminals and a TV with a video cable (RCA/pincode).

• When the video equipment and the AV receiver is connected via an component video cable

  Connect the AV receiver's MONITOR OUT of COMPONENT VIDEO terminals and a TV with a component cable.

NOTE:

• If the video equipment has an HDMI output terminal, connect the video equipment and the AV receiver with an HDMI cable. Check whether an image appears on the TV screen. For details on how to connect, refer to the manual.
• Sound of the video equipment will come out from the AV receiver if an input function of the AV receiver is changed to the one that the video equipment is connected to. Use the input button on the remote or INPUT SELECTOR on the AC receiver.
